Unfortunately this is my life, damned sad way to live.

I was born in Cincinnati and as a kid if I was in the park playing I would have to go home to get some water couldn't drink from the public fountain. Once on a trip with my father and mother we stopped at a gas station in Virginia I had to use the bathroom so bad so when I got out the car and I started running for the bathroom cuz I saw the sign my father stopped me and told me to go behind the gas station to do what I had to do because I couldn't use that restroom, and now all these years later when I ride past A LEO i still check my mirror as we pass each other. I've served my country honorably as most of my family has including my youngest son but do I feel as though this is my country , Langston Hughes said it best America is not America to me but it will be.

So sad but so true

Why is it so hard to find middle ground, i know there are a lot of people of European descent who no matter what can't change their mindset. But there are a lot of minorities who are stuck not so much in the past but unable to move forward. When segregation was the way of life all that I  heard was education was the way out, and yes it seems like every time we move forward as a hold something goes wrong. But to achieve what we want we have to support each other and you have to be smarter than your adversary, my old man always told me to work smarter not harder. We as a people need to understand first there is no such thing as black and brown, yellow and red , if we stop believing the BS guess what we can make a change. There is nothing you can't achieve if you really want to, will it be hard hell yeah but will it be worth it dam right it will.
