I'm a disabled veteran and so is my youngest son and speaking from experience I can tell you that even with the flaws they are trying too work out the VA has come a long way from when I had to take a medical discharge. If not for the VA a whole host of medical advancements would not have been achieved, I get that it can work at a snails pace at times trust me I know but overall you can't beat the treatment and care you receive at the VA. The republicans want to privatize the VA and if you think you have a long waiting time now just wait, also you can bet that profits will be the only thing that matters not veterans.
